Google and Samsung are working on a new Nexus 10

Few days ago new Nexus 7 (2013) was officially presented, but it was having rather small update to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean . All details on the new tablet and the new Android version, we have already discussed, but a journalist for the Wall Street Journal claims to have learned from Sundar Pichai yesterday at the event in person, that the next Nexus 10 is produced in collaboration with Samsung again.

The Nexus 7 (2013) is currently with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, though this update is naturally distributed to virtually all current Nexus devices. So you currently assume that the new Nexus 10 as a reference tablet of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie could serve. Unfortunately, there is currently no detailed information about the technical data the tablet could have and what features Android 5.0 brings exactly.

A few months ago there were rumors that a new Nexus 10 on the way especially that it will come with  a new processor. Yesterday we have done the comparison between the current Nexus 10 and a 5420 Octa-core processor ARM reference tablet with Exynos. The graphics performance of the new Mali-T628 GPU MP6 is impressively good and would fit perfectly together with the very high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. An even higher resolution one can hardly expect, after all, Apple makes no attempt to increase the resolution of the retina display in the iPad 5th

As with all new tablets, we now expect that the new will be Nexus 10 lighter and thinner. Especially in combination with the big modern components. LITTLE processor from Samsung is expected to save some energy. Even when the battery is new Nexus 7 shrunk slightly, causing the unit was lighter and thinner, but the battery life should remain the same.

Now these are all just speculations as always. In the end, the IFA 2013 will be groundbreaking if the new Exynos 5420 processor will really be used in the future. Last made the current Nexus 10 negative headlines in sales .It is said to have sold worse than the Surface RT. Google has learned from the limited availability and sold but the new Nexus 7 on significantly more retail partners. This should significantly increase sales
