Samsung UN-Veils Fitness Tracker Gear Fit

On the Samsung Unpacked Event Episode 1 during the GSMA Mobile World Congress, Samsung has also introduced alongside the Galaxy S5 a fitness tracker. The Gear Fit is after the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo the third wearable device that Samsung has presented at MWC.
In contrast to the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo the Gear Fit specializes in the fitness aspect. The shape is different: Instead of a watch-shape Samsung sets in Gear Fit on a tape, similar Fitbits Flex or Jawbone Up. The Gear Fit has a curved AMOLED display, this allows for a better adaptation to the wrist without that tape looks clunky and strongly protruding. Samsung has found a way to use a curved display useful.
Samsung installed in Gear Fit no camera, no speakers and no microphones that does not need it. The display is 1.84 inches tall, and dissolves with 432 x 128 pixels. The pixel density is 244ppi good. The rubber band is interchangeable and the Gear Fit resistant to IP67 water and dust. Features include a pedometer, training aids, heart rate measurements, sleep monitoring, a stopwatch and a timer. Besides, it can receive notifications (SMS, calls, e-mail, apps), has a calendar function, smart relay and a media controller. The Gear Fit only works with the current Galaxy smartphones, the devices are coupled via Bluetooth 4.0.The battery is 210mAh strong and holding under normal use 3-4 days.

Google is expected to Stop analyzing Cookies to Track Users

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Google is considering ditching cookies to track users. Instead, Google would "create your own anonymous ID for each individual." Google, which has been secretly planted cookies in Internet Explorer and iPhone, says it's an attempt at the Internet safer for users.

A spokesman for Google told the WSJ:

"We believe that the technical improvements, users can improve security and at the same time, the Web remains economically. We and others have a lot of concepts in this area, but they are all in the very early stages"
So nothing is confirmed yet. And even though on the surface, probably will not change, most people use the web, it will definitely make Google even more on advertising. Advertisers would have to go to Google to learn about the habits of a user, and not cookies means that Google would leave even more control over what he knows about us.
